RESEARCH CONTEXT

GHK-Cu: tripeptide with copper complex

GHK-Cu consists of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine complexed with a copper(II) ion. The complex is studied in dermatological and fibroblast models for collagen and elastin expression, metalloproteinase activity, and antioxidant pathways.

The copper complex gives the dissolved substance its characteristic blue colour. That colour is an initial indication of an intact complex, but not a substitute for analysis: identity and purity are confirmed per batch with HPLC.

In skin research, GHK-Cu is regularly evaluated together with BPC-157 and TB-500; the Glow blend bundles all three in one vial.
