What purity can I expect from your peptides?

Every Peptica peptide is verified to >99% purity via reverse-phase HPLC (UV-220 nm) and confirmed with mass spectrometry. The average across our last 24 batches is >99.5%. The full Certificate of Analysis — including method, retention time and impurity profile — is archived for every batch and available on request.

Can I request a Certificate of Analysis for my batch?

Yes. Email info@peptica.be with your order number and we'll send the COA PDF for your specific batch within one business day. Recent batch summaries are also published publicly on our Lab Results page.

Who performs the independent verification?

Accepted Answer

Verification is performed by an independent ISO-accredited analytical laboratory. Every batch receives a unique verification key stated on the COA, which is cross-referenceable with the partner lab on request.

Are heavy metals tested?

Accepted Answer

Yes — every batch is tested for lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury against ICH Q3D Option 1 thresholds. Results appear on the COA under the 'Heavy metals' tab.

Are these products intended for human use?

Accepted Answer

No. All Peptica products are sold exclusively for in-vitro and preclinical laboratory research. They are not approved by the EMA or FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Buyers confirm research use at checkout.

Question 6

How are orders packaged and shipped?

Accepted Answer

Orders ship within 48 hours from our location in België. Vials are sealed in tamper-evident packaging, placed in an insulated mailer with frozen gel packs (holds 2–8°C for ≥72 hours) and sent with tracking and signature via DHL, GLS or bpost, depending on destination.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship online to Belgium and the Netherlands for a flat rate of € 9,99 — free from € 150,00. For delivery outside Belgium or the Netherlands, place your order by email (info@peptica.be); we'll then review shipping costs and local rules for importing research chemicals.

What about customs within the EU?

Accepted Answer

Within the EU our packages don't pass through customs — these are intra-community shipments. Outside the EU (UK, CH, NO, US, …) the buyer is responsible for import duties. We always include correct HS codes and a commercial invoice to avoid delays.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

You place an order request on our own site and pay by regular bank transfer. You receive the bank details and a reference number by email; once the payment arrives your order ships. We never store card details.

What is your returns policy?

Due to the nature of biological reagents, opened vials cannot be returned. Unopened products can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund minus shipping costs. Damaged or incorrect shipments are replaced free of charge if reported within 48 hours of delivery.

What if my package is delayed or arrives damaged?

Report it within 48 hours of delivery to info@peptica.be with photos. In case of a confirmed cold-chain breach (gel packs fully thawed + temperature logger >8°C), we replace the order free of charge.

What is the recommended storage per peptide?

Accepted Answer

Lyophilized peptides ship at ambient temperature and remain stable for several weeks if unopened. Store sealed vials at −20°C for longer-term storage. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, store the solution at 2–8°C and use within 28 days. GLP-1 agonists (semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide) are slightly more sensitive — always store at 2–8°C after reconstitution.

How do I reconstitute a lyophilized peptide?

Slowly add the desired volume of bacteriostatic water along the side of the vial — don't spray the water directly onto the powder. Gently swirl (don't shake) until the solution is clear. Use our reconstitution calculator to work out the correct volume for your target concentration.

Which water should I use?

Accepted Answer

Bacteriostatic water (BAC water — 0.9% benzyl alcohol). Sterile water for injection is an alternative but reduces the shelf life of the reconstituted solution to 24–72h. We offer 10 mL BAC water as an add-on with every order.

How many times can I puncture a vial?

Accepted Answer

A vial reconstituted with BAC water lasts 28 days with sterile technique. In practice, limit to ~30 punctures (29–31G insulin needle) to minimize cross-contamination.

Certainly — for orders from €500 or fixed recurring deliveries. Email info@peptica.be with your requirements (peptides, volumes, frequency) and you'll receive a quote with VAT number within one business day.
