RESEARCH CONTEXT

TB-500 and the actin-binding domain

TB-500 is the synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4 that contains the actin-binding motif. In cell culture models it is studied for cytoskeletal dynamics, cell migration and the formation of new blood vessels in tissue-repair models.

Because TB-500 primarily acts on actin polymerization while BPC-157 acts more on growth-factor signalling, the two peptides are often evaluated side by side or together in research. Those running both protocols usually choose the combined vial.

The material is supplied lyophilized under inert gas and comes with batch-specific analysis documentation including endotoxin screening.
