Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide and growth hormone secretagogue (GHS). In research settings it is studied for its selective interaction with the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) and growth hormone release patterns.
What is Ipamorelin?
Ipamorelin belongs to the selective GHS class: preclinical data show GH release without a significant rise in cortisol or prolactin, unlike older secretagogues.
In animal models it is used to study pulsatile GH release, IGF-1 response and interaction with the hypothalamic-pituitary axis.
